A raw water pump failure in the Florida Keys started a cascade of events that required a lot of repairs. Props, straightening prop shaft, Kicker motor oil pan case, raw water impeller, thermostat, and inspection of sterndrive, replacement of stern drive U-joints and a tear down of the exhaust system to make sure there were no problems with the fiberglass pipes. A lot of time, but not a whole lot of money thankfully, mostly because I could perform the repairs myself. This was first day back on the water 27 days after returning from the Keys.
